Scribefire QuickAds wants my Google password!

Scribefire QuickAds is a service to customize and optimize Google Adsense ads on your weblog. I would have liked to use it. The Scribefire weblog editor addon for Firefox is a great product. But the following e-mail conversation should make clear to everybody, why I choose the security of my privacy over a promised gain in ad revenue.

Hello,

everytime i try to sync up my Adsense account by adding my Google AdSense
account login, i get:

"Unable to log into your Google AdSense account using the login you provided,
please double check your login and password"

Double checked my login and password and both are correct.

thanks for any help!

Sorry,

but under the condition that compromising my secure privacy is the only
alternative, I am not able to use your service.

thanks anyway,

  3. I don't know if their reasons were honorable. I mean that I don't know if they really wanted to help, or they had others hidden reasons. Anyway, it is suspect :S

PS: I am spanish, but I don't know speak neither write in german, so I write this in english...

Actually, I do not even question, that they have honorable reasons for their offer. But if they have no alternative to solve the problem other than to invade my privacy, they really offer no solution at all. it is also naive to expect, that a customer would not retreat in shock to such offer. Not very pro to say the least.

    p. s.: lingua franca is totally OK ;-)
